Our System Overview
GuyanaMatrimony.com is strictly for serious Guyanese who are interested in finding a marriage partner. This is not a dating site. Any member who violate our Code of Conduct will be banned from our site. Since seeking a marriage partner on an online matrimonial site is new to our Guyanese brothers and sisters we have implemented a system where only registered members can view profiles and pictures of members. In that way shy members would feel no apprehension, shame or fear in posting their photos. So we strongly encourage every member to upload a picture of yourself because only serious minded individuals who are interested in marriage would do so. And we would like to reiterate again that the general public or the world would never see or be able to see your photos --- only registered members who have logged in their profiles can do so.
Furthermore we have weeded out the pranksters, jokers and childish individuals who may have joined our site for fun. As you can see our registration process is not for those persons as they would not want to spend time filling out the long sign up form. And even if they managed to get through, they still would not be able to harass or contact any member. Only Premium members are allowed to use our messaging systems. Premium members in our eyes are serious in finding their special Guyanese soul mate for marriage --- and you can trust them.
Also your personal information such as Street, Village/City and Telephone numbers is never displayed to any member. It is up to you only to give your personal information to other members of your interest via our private messaging and chatting systems. Only your general information would be in your profile. We would not accept registration from any member who has given false information. So we encourage all members to give your correct information.
